Instructions
Start by mixing up your Cajun cream sauce. In a bowl, combine ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon hot sauce, 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, ½ teaspoon paprika, 1 clove garlic, minced, and a good splash of lemon juice. Stir it all together and set it aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Season 250 g beef steak strips with 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning, salt, black pepper, and 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Toss them in the pan and sear until they’re nicely browned. Pull them out and set aside.
Drop 2 tablespoons butter into that same pan. Add 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined with a bit more Cajun seasoning and cook until they turn pink. Take them out too.
Now toss 1 green bell pepper, sliced, 1 red bell pepper, sliced, and 1 medium onion, sliced into the pan. Sauté them until they’re soft and have some nice charred spots.
Time to build this thing! Spread your hot cooked fries on a serving tray. Layer on the steak and those peppers and onions. Top everything with the shrimp.
Drizzle that Cajun cream sauce all over the top – don’t be shy with it. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons chopped parsley over everything.
Serve it up right away while it’s hot!
